Do you think about me still? Close your eyes, I'm sure you will. See me now as you need me to be. I'm the worst thing for you. Think of you at the oddest times. and always on my longest drives. I need you here right by my side. I'm the worst thing for you. Smile through the crying every night. Soon enough you'll smile on your own. Take from me my best, and tear it from my chest. Love is nothing more than people trying. I was never right for you. I was never right it seemed. When my eyes don't see what yours see. I am the worst thing for you. See me as a bitter man. It's easy then to let me go. I'll wish you well and leave you alone. I'm the worst thing for you. Smile through the crying every night. Soon enough you'll smile on your own. Take from me my best, and tear it from my chest. Love is nothing more than people trying. You were always good to me. I had everything to learn. I'm thankful for the times we had. I'm the worst thing for you. Smile through the crying every night. Soon enough you'll smile on your own. Take from me my best, and tear it from my chest. Love is nothing more than people trying.

Vacuum Song 05:17
As I sit alone in quiet isolation I observed all the dog hair on the floor. and the remnants from my boots have left their trailings It's time to sweep the memory, shed my skin, and start anew. I don't clean near as often as I used to I blame the vacuum that has lost its will to work. When in truth I know it's only me that's failing. It's time to sweep the memory, shed my skin, and start anew. What does the dust say about me now? Am I ancient to this world somehow? How do I rationalize procrastination? It's time to sweep the memory, shed my skin, and let you in. I have a friend and she told me she is moving and had some things to rid around the house. One such item was a heavy vintage vacuum. I asked her how much and that I'd like to check it out. In proximity her house was walking distance So I laced my boots and parted for my prize. We got to talking for nearly half an hour. She said it's time to sweep the memory, shed her skin, and dry her eyes. What does the dust say about us now? Am I ancient to this world somehow? How do I rationalize procrastination? It's time to sweep the memory, shed my skin, and let you in. As I sit alone in quiet isolation I observed all the dog hair on the floor. and the remnants from my boots have left their trailings. It's time to sweep the memory, shed my skin, and start anew.

Summer Rain 02:43
I am a migrant, not unlike you Seeking solace from the pain, you’d do that too. You treat me different, is it the color of my skin, or is it the worn out shoes I came here in. Am I unworthy? So I’m told - by a president - an agenda all his own Locked in a cage, I am an animal you trapped. I have no home, I’m losing hope. . All I want, all I need, is to feel the cool summer rain. All I want, all I’m asking, is to feel the cool summer rain. All I want, all I need, is to feel the cool summer rain. All I want, all I need, is to feel the cool summer rain.

Never Yours 04:54
I was never yours, you were never mine We learned that all over time. I have the house, you have your life, I'll wish you well all of the time. Don't look to me for answers, on who I'll grow to be. I do not know just where I'll go, but I'll leave it all up to me now. Our house it was a church. We laid there weeping on the floor. Our faith was strong but we needed more. We laid there weeping on the floor. I hope you find your happy, I hope to see you smile. This life is long you'll be alright, I'll wish you well all of the time. Our house it was a church. We laid there weeping on the floor. Our faith was strong but we needed more. We laid there weeping on the floor. Our house it was a church. We laid there weeping on the floor. Our faith was strong but we needed more. We laid there weeping on the floor. I was never yours, you were never mine. We learned that all over it time.

Penelope 03:56
Penelope I want to tell you a secret This world is better with you in it. I know you shy away when I compliment your eyes I don't know why, But I tell you anyways Anyways Penelope I know that soon you will be leaving Our time it was always time well spent You taught me more about who I am and what I'm worth Now the road has come to draw you in Draw you in Months ago I barely knew you Months from now I'll wish I never had All that separates is distance Till then I'll embrace the time we have Penelope I want to tell you a secret This world is better with you in it You make my weak heart race a little faster like a train Rolling on the tracks from me to you A train from me to you Go on now and live a life so full and dig in deep with each and every step Be the woman that you're called to be That is the only thing I'd ever ask All I'd ask Go on now and live a life so full and dig in deep with each and every step Be the woman that you're called to be That is the only thing I'd ever ask All I'd ask There will never be another you Penelope I hope there never is Just as soon as you came into my world You're gonna leave it like a train rolling off the tracks Far from me and far from you Far from me and you You're gonna leave my world so blue Till then I'll embrace my time with you

Alive 03:35
I'll cut myself open and bleed out each drop I'll burn out my eyes just to share in your sun My smile though pained is a guide when I'm lost I will hold onto hope till all hope is gone Seen you grow distant your dreams out of sight I will lay there beside you toss and turn in the night I keep on thinking what could I do right? Where an old faded picture in that frame placed bedside. I recall the first time we met There was fire in your eyes The world was in your corner with me by your side You were alive Drag me through fire coals under my feet Let's walk hand in hand till we're both buried deep Your heart is an ocean my love is the sea Your lips are the sirens your rocks beckon me I recall the first time we met There was fire in your eyes The world was in your corner with me by your side You were alive I'll cut myself open and bleed out each drop I'll burn out my eyes just to share in your sun My smile though pained is a guide when I'm lost I will hold onto hope till all hope is gone I will hold onto hope till our love is gone

A mother buys the groceries after work, picks up the kids from school The middle class that is aint that middle class you knew middle class you knew and father he is busy, searching for a job When you're old and overqualified life is so damn hard Why is it so hard? So hold onto those hopes my children, they can't steal your dreams The thoughts you keep inside of you should never be policed They should be released A little boy goes hungry, aint nothing he can do We all have our problems, better to blame on you We're so far removed So hold onto those hopes my children, they can't steal your dreams The thoughts you keep inside of you should never be policed They should be released A family tries their damndest, in a world that's down and out But good things they can happen when a, common man stands proud I'm not stepping down
